I deal with a lot of pain and find it difficult to lift weights and do a lot of the exercises. I still do want to keep active so I thought something like this would be gentler and easier to use for me. There were quite a few things choices but I eventually settled on this one as it had quite a few good reviews.
The packaging of this item is quite nice and includes a sleek looking carrying case. Inside are quite a few things. There are 5 resistance bands (each one a different colour and to represent different tension), 2 handles, 2 ankle straps, a door anchor and a manual. In the manual it says you can either use an over head anchor or you can use the one provided. The one provided is pretty cool. It is a little strap that has a loop on one end and the other has a big bump at the end. From the inside of your door you feed the loop through to the outside. Then you close the door and the side with the bump stays on the inside of the door and the loop stays on the outside. Once you close the door you have a solid anchor and you can use the anchor to loop your bands in it and do our exercises. It is also in the manual. The bands and the handles all look very high quality. I have done a few exercises and can feel the burn when doing them. The travel bag is quite nice as well.
The only reason I took a star off is because of a lack of another anchor. I live in a bachelor apartment which is a bit small and the only doors I have in my apartment are the washroom door and the closet door. It makes the door anchor a squishy option as there is not too much area in front of those doors. You can improvise and use something else as an anchor but I felt like this company should of included something else. Overall, I think this is a great product and would be great for someone who has never used resistance bands but wants to get into using them.
